Frequently Asked Questions

For best results, take Easy™ continuously throughout the month. Taking Easy™ continuously will give the best symptom relief, and will work best to change the trend of symptoms so that they reduce over time. You’re not only taking Easy™ to help with your current symptoms, but to support balance in future cycles as well.

However, this does not mean we expect people to take Easy™ the rest of their menstruating lives. Taking our formula continuously for a course of several months will tend to reduce symptoms over time, and that change is often maintained even if the dose is reduced or stopped completely. The duration needed is different for everyone based on symptom severity. We recommend taking Easy™ continuously for 3 months as a starting point. The milder the symptoms, the shorter the duration is.

Alternatively, for people who don't feel like taking it continuously through the cycle - the next best thing is to take it the week before bleeding and throughout bleeding. This also may work well for people with mild symptoms.

If you’re not having menstrual bleeding but you still have symptoms like cramping pain, breast tenderness, mood swings, acne etc - for best results, take Easy continuously throughout the month. Alternatively, take Easy during the times when you have symptoms.

This can be the case with some birth control methods like hormonal IUDs (Mirena, Kylenna, Skyla), Depo-Provera injections, birth control ring, and with some oral birth control pills.

Yes! None of the herbs in our formula are known to interfere with the effectiveness of hormonal birth control.

In some instances Easy™ may not be helpful or may need to be combined with additional supportive care. This includes cases of amenorrhea (lack of period) due to low body weight or anemia, and cases of menstrual flooding due to thyroid conditions.

In these cases, you may still try Easy™ to see if it helps regulate your cycle, but be aware that you may need to seek care from a healthcare provider.

People who are breastfeeding and also experiencing painful periods may want to take Easy™. Many physicians are cautious about taking any herbal supplement while breastfeeding, so we recommend consulting with your healthcare provider to see if this is appropriate for you.

We fully intend to offer Easy™ in a capsule form in the future. However, there is a reason we started with offering Easy™ in its current herbal extract form. There are several benefits to taking our herbal extract in tea form as compared to capsules - it is more cost-effective, many people find it easier than swallowing capsules, and tasting the flavors of medicinal herbs actually initiates physiologic effects even before they are digested and absorbed.

Our herbal extract costs 50% more when it comes in a capsule. The directions for our herbal extract recommend taking 3 spoonfuls (with the spoon we provide) 1-2 times/day. In terms of standard 500 mg capsules, that’s 10 capsules 1-2 times/day. For a lot of people, it's just easier to take our extract in hot water than swallowing that many capsules. However, if you are someone who really wants this formula in a capsule and would love to take 10 capsules 1-2 times/day, please send us a message. We’d love to hear from you!
